American - Collies vom Sachsenhof
Seit 1972 besitzen wir Collies. Mit der ersten großen Show (DDR-Siegerschau in Leipzig) stand fest, wir züchten diese Rasse.
1973 wurde der Zwinger "v. Sachsenhof" geschützt und der erste Wurf war aus der sable-white Hündin "Fee v. Bergloch". Die zweite Hündin "Blue Werry a. d. Hexenhaus" wurde dann zur Grundlage unserer weiteren Zucht. Bis 1992 züchteten wir ausschließlich die Farben blue-merle und tricolor.
1999 kam es mehr durch Zufall zum Besuch der "National Specialty des Collie Club of America". Die erfolgreichsten Züchter der USA stellen dort ihre Collies in einem 4 Tage währenden Marathon vor. Die Faszination war groß. Es kam zu ersten Kontakten mit Judie Evans, der so erfolgreichen Züchterin der "Clarion Collies". Ein Traum war geboren.
2004 wurde dann dieser Traum Wirklichkeit. Die ersten zwei Clarions hielten Einzug bei uns. Schon in der Jugendklasse waren beide sehr erfolgreich.
2005 und 2006 folgten noch ein tricolor - Rüde und eine blue merle - Hündin.
2006 kam dann der erste heißersehnte Wurf. Und seitdem hat unser selbstgezogener Nachwuchs zwei Jugend-Champion Titel und diverse Siege und hervorragende Platzierungen erreicht.

American - Collies "vom Sachsenhof"
We have had collies since 1972. With the first great show (GDR-Winner Show in Leipzig) it was certain that we would be breeding collies.
In 1973 the kennel "v.Sachsenhof" was begun and the first litter was from the sable and white bitch "Fee v. Bergloch". The second bitch "Blue Werry a.d. Hexenhaus" then became the basis of our future breeding. We exclusively bred blue merles and tricolors til 1992.
Then by chance in 1999 we were able to attend the National Specialty of the Collie Club of America. Here the most successful breeders of the USA present their collies in a 4 day marathon. We were totally fascinated. There we made our first contact with Judie Evans, the very successful breeder of Clarion Collies....and a dream was born.
This dream became a reality in 2004 when the first two Clarions came home with us. Both were soon very successful in the youth classes.
2005 and 2006 followed still a tricolor male and a blue merle bitch.
The first much-anticipated litter was born in 2006 and our home bred youngsters have two yourth champion titles and have achieved many victories and excellent placements since then.
